Engaging in a regular physical activity program and reducing sedentary activities is essential to promote health, psychological well-being, and maintaining a healthy body weight. Due to the physical demands of training for a particular sport athletes generally do not have problem obtaining enough daily exercise. Because athletes expend a high amount of calories due to training, special attention must be given to ensure that food intake is high enough to meet the daily caloric needs for weight loss, weight maintenance, or weight gain.
The OPC exercise tracking program will allow athletes to monitor their daily physical activity and also calculate their calories expended during exercise for that day.
It is recommended that physical fitness be achieved by engaging in cardiovascular, resistance, and stretching exercises that are specific to the sport in which you are participating in.
