On February 12, 2012, Gallagher-Iba Arena will become one of four host sites for the 2012 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals Presented by Hibiclens and The Marines. Better known to many as Mat Mayhem, this regional event will feature a fair share of talented line-ups.
The six teams competing in Stillwater are: Boise State, Chattanooga, Nebraska (No. 21), Ohio State (No. 6), Oklahoma State (No. 2) and Wyoming (No. 14).
Oklahoma State, who will host and compete in this event, boasts thirty-four NCAA Team Championships in their program’s history and is most likely to be the top ranked team in the region according to the NWCA/USA Today Coaches Poll.
“Fans can expect to see tough, tough wrestling. It is late in the season and the athletes will be at the top of their game. All ten athletes are important, how you lose, if you get bonus points or pins make a difference in the dual meet score. All ten athletes are involved in the outcome of the team’s performance,” said Oklahoma State Head Coach John Smith.
