Oklahoma State unanimously holds the No. 1 spot NWCA/USA Today Division I Coaches Poll, for the second straight week.
Moving up one spot to join the Top 10 this week is Michigan, with a 4-2 record on the season.
Rounding out this week’s Top 10 are: Oklahoma State, Iowa, Penn State, Minnesota, Cornell, Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio State, Pittsburgh and Michigan.
Kent State jumps to No. 16 after beating No. 14 Missouri. Binghamton also moves into the Top 20 this week with an 8-2 record.
There are currently five undefeated teams ranked in the Top 25: Cornell, Hofstra, Maryland, Oklahoma State and Pittsburgh.
Out of the Top 25, the following teams will be competing in the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals starting on February 11 (in order by rank): Oklahoma State, Iowa, Minnesota, Cornell, Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Missouri, Kent State, Oregon State, Central Michigan, Virginia Tech, and Rutgers.
The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll Committee is made up of one coach from each conference. A number one ranking is worth 25 points and a number 25 ranking is worth one point.
This poll is based on a dual meet ranking.
A new poll will be released every Tuesday from now until the week of the NCAA Division I Wrestling Tournament and can be found at www.nwcaonline.com.
