Undefeated Oklahoma State unanimously holds the No. 1 spot NWCA/USA Today Division I Coaches Poll, for the six straight week.
Illinois joins the Top. 5 this week after an exciting NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals Regional Final match against No. 6 Cornell, winning the dual meet 19-16.
With Illinois joining the Top 5, that makes four out of the Top 5 teams competing in the Mat Mayhem Final at Oklahoma State on February 19th.
Missouri also moves into the Top 10 after a win over No. 14 Michigan this past weekend.
Rounding out this week’s Top 10 are: Oklahoma State, Penn State, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Cornell, Ohio State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh and Missouri.
The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll Committee is made up of one coach from each conference. A number one ranking is worth 25 points and a number 25 ranking is worth one point.
This poll is based on a dual meet ranking.
A new poll will be released every Tuesday from now until the week of the NCAA Division I Wrestling Tournament and can be found at www.nwcaonline.com.
