Background Information: Hibiclens has partnered with the NWCA to provide members with a variety of online resources to educate parents, coaches and athletes to help identify MRSA and other communicable skin diseases.  In addition to the resources listed below, their website provides additional content necessary to keep a safe environment for athletes.

MRSA: The Injury No One Saw Coming:  Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection is caused by a strain of staph bacteria that's become resistant to the antibiotics commonly used to treat ordinary staph infections.  This 9-minute video provides critical information to coaches, medical staff, and teachers on this infection.
