College Pure Entertainment Finalist: 12 Programs Named Finalist for “Pure Entertainment” Award

In collaboration with Elite Level Sports Marketing (ELSM), the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced twelve finalists in the Best of Brand “Pure Entertainment” category in the College Division.

The programs that were announced as finalists by the committee are the following: Wisconsin, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Army, Illinois, NC State, American, Chadron State, Drexel, NDSU, Ohio State, and Purdue.

The Best of Brand “Pure Entertainment” awards programs which create the best promotional video.  With the growing importance of videos in social media, the development of innovative videos during the wrestling season is essential to building programs brands and the sport of wrestling as a whole.  The winner is chosen based on two key elements: a panel of judges assessing video performance and quality in accordance with the award, as well as a social media campaign which concludes with an online voting component. We will be sending more information within the next few weeks to discuss the voting and judging aspects of this award. Congratulations to the 12 programs on being named the finalist for this prestigious award!
