NAIA Men’s Wrestler of the Week – No. 4

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Derrick Smallwood of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Men’s Wrestler of the Week. Smallwood was chosen over a pool of conference winners based on competition from Jan. 6 – 12.

  • Smallwood went a perfect 5-0 at the NAIA National Duals to help the Blue Raiders to a 6th place finish
  • Wrestled across to different weight classes over the weekend taking down four NAIA ranked opponents.
  • He defeated Richard Pocock, Jacob McNutt, Jordan Komac, and Tristan Selmer.
