NWCA Honorary Lifetime Members

Selection Criteria:

This award is available to all coaches at the scholastic or collegiate levels. Nominations can be made by yourself, an administrator, a colleague, or any other member of the wrestling community. The candidate must meet the following qualifications:

1. Be an active NWCA member for at least 10 years.
2. Be retired from the coaching profession and be a 25-year awardee.
3. Must have distinguished himself as a member of the Board of Directors and/or been a member of the NCAA Rules committee or NFHSA.
4. The Board of Directors may, upon a 2/3 vote, grant honorary membership to an individual whose contributions to the sport have been more then exemplary but fail to meet one of the criteria listed above.

All award recipients must be approved by the full NWCA Board!

An NWCA representative will notify the recipients directly upon their selection. All recipients will be entitled to a complimentary NWCA annual membership (and all related benefits) and one complimentary ticket to every Division I Championship. Additionally, all recipients will receive recognition in NWCA publications.
