NWCA Leadership Academy Mentoring college coaches to be leaders in our sport The NWCA Coaching Leadership Academy was started in 2009 with the guidance of Dr. Dan Gould of Michigan State. The goal of the Academy is two-fold: to help coaches strengthen their CEO skills in an effort to protect their programs and to promote best practices for improving retention & graduation rates. HOW TO APPLY The NWCA is currently accepting applications for the 40 head and assistant college coaches that will be accepted into the 2012 Leadership Academy on August 1-2 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
