On August 5, the NWCA launched a new initiative at safeguarding wrestling on the collegiate level by inviting 30 coaches to Fort Lauderdale, FL for the Inaugural Coaching Leadership Academy. The two-day event brought in 30 of the nation's upcoming coaches and paired them with mentors in a two-day intensive training session.
