The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll for February 2, 2010, has been released.
Iowa retains their No. 1 spot for the twelfth week in a row, with wins over Michigan State and Penn State.
This week’s top 7 remain steady: Iowa, Iowa State, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Minnesota, Cornell and Lehigh. Iowa State and Cornell met in dual meet action this week with Iowa State keeping their No. 2 ranking by beating the Big Red 24-13. Minnesota beat Big Ten rivals Wisconsin and Purdue
Rutgers moves into the top 25 for the first time this season landing at No. 23 after recent wins over Virginia and Navy and holding an overall record of 16-4-1.
The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll Committee is made up of one coach from each conference. A number one ranking is worth 25 points and a number 25 ranking is worth one point.
