The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll for February 9, 2010, has been released.
Iowa retains their No. 1 spot for the thirteenth week in a row, with shutout wins over both Michigan State (37-0) and Utah Valley University (38-0).
This week’s top 8 remain steady: Iowa, Iowa State, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Minnesota, Cornell, Lehigh and Oklahoma.
Boise State dropped out of this week’s top 10 after a loss this week to Utah Valley University.
Penn State moves up to No. 10 this week, making their first appearance this season in the top 10.
The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll Committee is made up of one coach from each conference. A number one ranking is worth 25 points and a number 25 ranking is worth one point.
