The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll for January 11, 2011, has been released.
Cornell University remains the unanimous No. 1 team. Rounding out the Top 5 are Penn State, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech and Minnesota.
Wisconsin moves up one spot after a third place finish at the National Duals, while Virginia Tech jumps from No. 12 to No. 4 after placing second.
Oklahoma State dropped to No. 6 after two losses at the National Duals this weekend to Virginia Tech and Missouri who moves to No. 7.
The Top 20 saw some movement this week with: Michigan, Iowa State, Kent State, Rutgers, and American moving up.
The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll Committee is made up of one coach from each conference. A number one ranking is worth 25 points and a number 25 ranking is worth one point.
A new poll will be released every Tuesday from now until the week of the NCAA Division I Wrestling Tournament and can be found at www.nwcaonline.com.
