Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced that Jennifer Fraser, Managing Director of NCAA Division I, will deliver the Saturday luncheon Keynote address at the NWCA’s National Convention. Jennifer will speak about the progress of the NCAA transformation committee and Name Image and Likeness (NIL). This year’s Convention is presented by ARMS Software, Cliff Keen, Defense Soap, Resilite, and the United States Marine Corps.

In her current role she serves as primary liaison to the NCAA Division I Council and works directly with the Board of Directors and Presidential Forum. During her previous tenure at the NCAA she supported the Division I Committee on Academic Performance, where she played a significant role in that committee’s academic reform efforts.

As a primary staff liaison to committees, Fraser helped implement the revised Division I governance structure and worked on a number of policy initiatives, including time management, transfer issues and initial eligibility standards. Fraser also has significant experience with the NCAA’s governance processes, having spent three years working in the national office’s Division II governance group. She began her career at the national office in the Eligibility Center, working in client relations.

Before joining the national office, Fraser was an assistant commissioner at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, assistant athletic director and senior woman administrator at Metropolitan State College of Denver. She also spent time as the assistant commissioner and senior woman administrator at the California Collegiate Athletic Association. She holds a sociology degree from California State University, San Bernardino.

We are delighted to have Jennifer Fraser join us from the NCAA.  What an an outstanding opportunity  for our members to have a person of her caliber join our Convention.  With the ever changing landscape of collegiate athletics its important for coaches to hear from the leaders of the governing bodies on new rules and upcoming changes.
