NWCA and SkyMD Join Forces to Help Protect Wrestlers

Manheim, PA – SkyMD Inc., an online national medical dermatology clinic that uses telemedicine applications to offer
medical dermatology services to patients across the USA for skin conditions (including, but not limited
to, rashes, eczema, herpes and psoriasis) from the privacy of a patient’s home, office or wherever they
may be, typically using their mobile device is proud to announce a new partnership with the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), which serves, protects, and promotes amateur wrestling in the educational environment.

In this partnership, SkyMD will assist the NWCA in implementing a better solution for managing and improving the health and safety of their wrestling athletes’ skin, as well as any other members of the NWCA (including wrestlers, coaches, parents and affiliates partners of the NWCA), in need of any medical dermatological services, to include providing diagnoses, treatment plan options and prescription medication.

SkyMD will provide National (USA) coverage of medical dermatological services, using the SkyMD telemedicine application to connect NWCA members, and their associated families, with SkyMD dermatologists who will offer them priority level of response time for any patient cases. Through this partnership, SkyMD will also provide preventative skin health regimen for its members, and a proactive plan for the earlier identification and treatment of NWCA student-athletes with skin issues, such that participation in tournaments or training camps increases across the country for NWCA student-athletes.

“This exciting new partnership with SkyMD will have a direct impact on student-athlete well-being, which is an NWCA core competency. We have witnessed how important telemedicine has become and SkyMD is ahead of the curve as they can provide nationwide access to dermatologists for wrestlers of all ages.”

-Mike Moyer, NWCA Executive Director

“We love treating and helping patients, and through our partnership with the NWCA we will be able to assist thousands of athletes across the country with their skin conditions, particular to the sport of wrestling. This is an example of an easy win-win for everyone.”

-Bart Calame, SkyMD CEO
