NWCA AND WIBN SIGNIFICANTLY EXPAND MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

Manheim, PA – It was announced this morning that National Wrestling Coaches Association and Wrestlers In Business Network memberships will now include access to a national travel and savings program called My Wrestling Rewards. In an ongoing effort to elevate the benefits of being an NWCA or WIBN member while remaining focused on organizational principles, the program will apply to new and existing memberships. While members will certainly be able to take advantage of significant discounts available on the site/app, they will also be able to advertise (for free) discounts offered by their respective companies or businesses.

“For the past several years, we have searched for an opportunity to enhance our member experience and give something measurable back to NWCA and WIBN supporters, ” said Executive Director Mike Moyer. “In the fall of 2021, Bloom’s, a company whose CEO is former nationally recognized collegiate wrestling coach Pete Hexter, approached us. As a member of the NWCA, Pete realized there was an opportunity to elevate membership significantly by providing access to Bloom’s nationally acclaimed travel and saving program. Both the NWCA and WIBN elected to extend these benefits to their members. Given the current financial conditions affecting many of our members and their families, we see this as a tremendous opportunity to help those who sustain and grow this great sport.”

My Wrestling Rewards membership inclusion resulted from those conversations and will be operating on an app-friendly national platform starting in July. The benefits are significant, including a $100 travel voucher that can be applied when booking at most hotels and resorts nationwide. Additionally, there are discounts up to 50% at 750,000 local and national restaurants, retailers, and service providers.

The NWCA recognizes coaches’ ongoing need to raise funds to support their programs. This membership will also include access to Bloom’s Our Wrestling Fundraiser for high schools, colleges, and clubs. This online program-branded platform is turn-key with a proven track record of maximizing time and effort to return impressive results. It is simple to implement and returns 70% profit from every membership sold directly back to the team. Another 10% of each subscription will be donated to NWCA, supporting their ongoing efforts to grow the sport. Initially, this benefit will only be available in select states across the country, with a goal to incorporate all states by next year.

WIBN members will have the option to advertise their organization’s discounts and benefits at no cost. With over 3,000,000 subscribers, this will allow WIBN members to reach clients and customers beyond WIBN.

Details and instructions on how to register will be sent directly to all our NWCA and WIBN members in mid-July.
